Do you mean "soccer style kicker"? (I've never heard of a player who just kicks called that) If so, that is actually the way you kick (coming from a curve/angle and using the side of your foot rather than just booting it w/the tip)
If you mean soccer style, Pete Gogolak was the first in league, AFL's Buffalo Bills in 1964 (He was from Hungry, so he WAS european --but I still don't think your terminology is correct).
