Well i think it was a slip of the tongue he probably wasn't paying any attention when he was asked the question but to be honest it seems way to many are just that players and i see that probably 60% arecollegedropouts who go no education just squeaked by to get to the PROS

Ah, some of them are and some aren't--just like normal folks. Of course, it doesn't help that a lot of big-time athletes are allowed to slide academically, and it's also a fact that a relatively high number of of NFL players are from low income backgrounds, where their intellectual development is hindered by underfunded, low-performing schools. Dumb implies a cognitive deficiency--a better way to look at it would be insufficiently educated. Football, especially at high levels, is a lot more complex than most people realize. Truly dumb people don't last long.
no most of them have least a high school diploma orcollegedegree.
well not all players are dumb but yeah that wouldnt surprise me. a lot of these guys know from the time they enter high school that they're going to be professional athletes so they don't care to study or pay attention in school. or maybe the guy has just had one too many concussions ;)
It wasn't just that he didn't know they spoke English, but didn't know where London was located on a map. UF student athletes at it's greatest. I don't think he even finished college. That's got to be one of the dumbest quotes to say out in public like that. At least look it up before speaking to the newspaper.

Alright, not everyone is dumb, just because they may be a stud doesn't mean they're dumb. They take many hits which is becoming a problem for some people, but there are a few people that may be unintelligent, cant help it
